Decades of passion for plastic and metal processing
It all began (1854) with the Dreifuss brothers from Villmergen making straw plaits.
In the middle of the global economic crisis (1935), Cellpack AG Wohlen was established with a production branch for cellophane packaging.
In the following years, the production branches of electrical insulation (1947) and glass resin factory (1958) were added. In the meantime (1953), the hat braiding production was abandoned.
In 1961, the development of a turning operation marked the beginning of plastics processing as a further production branch.
The processing of technical plastics is now one of the core activities of the BBC Group.

1982 The company moves into a new building in the Allmend area of Villmergen
1991 New organizational structure as a group of companies
1998 Realignment in the market and modernization of the machine park
1999 Introduction of the ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management system
2000 Establishment of the training workshop and the prototype shop
2005 Introduction of the ISO 13485 medical management system
2006 Establishment of a second production site in the Czech Republic
2012 Establishment of a delivery site in Germany
2017 Introduction of the ISO 9100 management system for the aerospace industry
2018 Takeover of Safrima AG – New Worben site for metal production in medical technology
2019 Integration of Cellpack Medical AG
2019 BBC Cellpack Plastics and Cellpack Medical AG become BBC Cellpack Technology
